UoT and District Administration to start CSS, PCS preparatory classes

The University of Turbat (UoT) in collaboration with the District Administration Kech will soon initiate an educational program in its city campus under which professional English language courses and dedicated courses for preparation of students for CSS and PCS examinations will be arranged.

This was agreed in a small and impressive Memorandum of Understanding (MOU) signing ceremony on 2nd September 2020 in the UoT’s faculty of law which was especially graced by honorable judge of Balochistan High Court (BHC), Justice Mohammad Hashim Khan Kakar.

This idea was in fact floated by the honorable Justice Muhammad Hashim Khan Kakar who was anxious to provide maximum professional and technical knowledge at the doorsteps of the people of Makran division, especially district Kech.

The MOU was signed by Mr. Ghulam Farooq, Registrar UoT and Major (Retd) Muhammad Ilyas Kibzai, Deputy Commission Kech.

The ceremony was also attended by many prominent leader, intellectuals and notables of the area including MPA Syed Ihsan Shah, Dean Faculty of Law (UoT) Prof. Dr. Gul Hasan, Member Senate (UoT) Dr. Taj Baloch, Deputy Registrar Ganguzar Baloch,  ADC Kech Khurrum Baloch, Chairman Department of Law Amir Mehmood and a number of other teachers, students and local eminent persons.

Speaking on the occasion, Justice Muhammad Hashim Khan Kakar asked the UoT and the District Administration to make this program a model for others by bringing teachers of good repute to teach in this centre. He stated that even Judges will come and teach in this centre on a voluntary basis.

He offered the Faculty of Law to send their final semester students to the courts for practical training and orientation.

On request from final semester students of the Faculty of Law to send them for the All Pakistan Tour, a number of organizations’ heads and individuals present at the occasion agreed to provide donations for the purpose. Justice Muhammad Hashim Khan Kakar also addressed the students of law classes and appraised himself about their problems.
